Rusting Powder

Can u believe this...?????  Twiddleybitz rusting powder is Amazing !!!!!  Just look what it can do to ordinary chipboard ..........And a little goes a long way...... All I did here was sprinkle the rusting powder onto wet black paint .....and once dry...spray with water with a drop of bleach in it....and leave to dry !!!!!     If you want to see more examples, just go and visit the Twiddleybitz Ning site....the Design Team have other examples for you to drool over....... Oh and by the way, the birdcage is a NEW Twiddleybitz product....and am working on another, as we speak !!!!!!!

Wonderful Wishing Wells...

I just love the NEW Wishing Wells from Twiddleybitz.....You can make them pretty, or you can grunge them up a bit......I think they'de be great for Wedding bonboniers...or filled with Easter eggs....or little girls hair lackies, or Christmas treats......or cottonballs or even a battery operated candle....gotta be careful with naked flame and chipboard !!!!  LOL       I've got even more finished projects to show...and look out for something exciting happening at Twiddleybitz sooooonnnn......

Xmas Table Centrepiece

This is the NEW Twiddleybitz Xmas tree centrepiece. I really love doing Christmas decorations....and this one is easy....and looks great !!! I collect tiny, wee boxes for just this reason. I used some of the small Smartie boxes the kids throw out when they've eaten the Smarties. Some of the small boxes are just chipboard squares, glued together. They look great when they are wrapped, and tied with ribbon. The tree itself was sprayed with TWDLYBTZ colorsprays, and then some glitterspray. The cube was covered with Christmas PP, and decorated with photos of my family. It will look great on the table, on Christmas Day !!!

I have also been working with some NEW TWDLYBTZ, but have been sworn to secrecy !!! But I do have some other "stuff", to show you....but it's still on the camera !!! So I will be back....sooner, than later.....I hope x x x

Finally....something to show you !

 

 

 

I've been given the Ok, to show some of the new stuff I've been working on.....This is a new LO using...one of my fav's....Webster Pages....And of course lots of Twiddleybitz...
Firstly, a beautiful Twiddleybitz Lamp post, the word "Memories", hearts (another simple one...but another fav..I use them heaps), and the Twiddleybitz Cupid love pair. I also used some Prima, some lace, corrugated cardboard, a doily, A Tim Holtz tag and some chicken wire. I love all those rich colors in the Webster Pages...Anyway...I know its been awhile..but I do have other things to show...but I'm under strict instructions...NOT YET !!! So...be patient....I promise there is more to come....And Twiddleybitz have some georgeous NEW stuff on the way !!!
So all you lucky people going to the SIA show...pop in and say Hi to Nic and Andrew !!! Wish it was me !!!

Firstly....I have some great news.....I was offered, and accepted a job in my LSS.....Scrapbooking to Di for. So even though I'm only working 2days a week, already I am finding it difficult to get all three kids (with lunches, reading and news) plus myself ready to go....But I am loving it !!!! To work in the Industry that has become so important to me is just wonderful !!! I have so many ideas, and there are so many things/techniques that I haven't even touched yet...so i am looking forward to doing all these things.....I just hope I still have time to continue my creating, because that is what I truly love to do....

This is another Twiddleybitz product, that was fun to make. The BOY truck...the flame is also twiddleybitz, as is the panther that pops out from the middle of the flame...Haven't done many Boy themed books (even though I have 2 boys) but I really enjoyed this one...so I will definately be making more !!
I have also done the TWDLYBTZ Combi-van....and I LUV how it has turned out...But I just have a few finishing touches, and then I will post a few pictures...
Kids are home from school....so I have things to do....

Birdcage with stand

 
 
Firstly, I'd just like to say thankyou, to all the visitors to my blog, that left me messages of encouragement and kindness. It has been a hard year, since my mother passed away, but with wonderful friends (like you guys) and family, I will learn to take things, one day at a time.
But, I couldn't let the 1 year anniversary of her death pass, without telling you all, how much she was loved, and how deeply she is missed.....

Ok....enough sadness....onto more creating. This is another project I have just finished, for Twiddleybitz. Just cant get enough of little birdcages. I guess it's about 6 inches tall. Firstly, i gave it a rusty texture and look with embossing powder. Then decorated with lace, flowers and a few embellishments. I just love Twiddleybitz and cant get enough of their products...Am currently working of a couple of things, that haven't quite come together yet....so maybe I'll tell you about them another day !!!

Kids are back at school today. Bless them...love them to pieces, but my routine is
absolutely out the window...Not to worry....have got to go do some housework....then hopefully I can disappear into my little corner to do some more creating !!!!

Some news to tell !!....

Well, firstly I wanted to shout out, that one of my OTP projects has been picked up by SM and will be published...My First EVER !!! And I wanted to thank Di and Mel (who submitted it for me) because THEY are the reason it happened....they have also been my coping mechanism for the last year !!! Those that know me, know I lost my beautiful mother nearly 12 months ago...and since then I've found that even getting out of bed, was extraordinary difficult...but Di and Mel, made me realize that it's OK to have a bad day..it's ok to be sad...really sad....and also very normal, after losing ones best friend !!! So I thank them with all my heart...my mum would have loved you both, had she met you !!! So I take each day as they come...knowing that some days will be better than others, and that's fine....So thankyou Di and Mel, you'll never know just how MUCH I luv you guys...I am soooo lucky to have friends like YOU.. Will be in next week with cake...I promise !!!
My second piece of news, is that I have been given a guest design spot with Twiddleybitz...and I LUUURRVVVE Twiddleybitz. One can never have too much chipboard....I have FOUR draws fULL!!!! So I am delighted....I cant show you anything yet !!!! But very soon !!!! I have been a very busy little black duck !!
